My wife, my 9-year-old son, and I had our dental treatments done by Dr. Mustafa and Dr. Furkan. We would like to thank them and the entire team for their care, friendliness, and professional approach from the beginning to the end of our treatment process. We always felt safe and valued. We were extremely satisfied. We can wholeheartedly recommend this clinic to everyone.
We started intensive dental treatment about 3 months ago. My biggest stroke of luck during this process was Dr. Furkan Selci. His step-by-step explanations, the care he showed in his work, and his kind approach helped me overcome my fears. I would like to thank Dr. Furkan Selci and all the Dentoktay staff for their attention and friendly service. 🙂
I brought my 4.5-year-old son today. He was a little nervous, but Dr. Mustafa reassured him and the examination was very easy. Also, everything was spotless. And the children's area is so lovely, it's like a wonderful reward for the kids after the procedure. We were very pleased. Our first dental check-up went wonderfully. Thank you!
On May 15, 2026, I went to Dentoktay Oral and Dental Health Clinic for an appointment using my Allianz insurance policy. An X-ray was taken, and I was referred to Dr. Furkan Selvi. They seated me in the examination chair. Then the doctor arrived. He said that one of my teeth was decayed from the inside and might need to be extracted. I told him that I had no complaints at the moment and that a filling wasn't possible, so I would come back if any problems arose. The tartar removal began. Very shortly after, the polishing was done, and he said the procedure was finished in about 3 minutes. I stood up and jokingly said, "You've broken a record! It's the fastest I've ever seen!" I felt the remaining roughness on my teeth with my tongue. I looked in the mirror and checked my teeth, seeing that the stains hadn't come off. I told the doctor there was no shine. He said, "You don't shine during tartar removal." I explained that by shine I meant not lightening my teeth's color, but removing the stains, and that I get a cleaning every year, and it's never been this quick or this efficient before, and I wasn't satisfied. He said, "I do it every day, it's that quick." I told them I would convey my dissatisfaction to the appropriate authorities. They said, "Go ahead and tell whoever you want." I went to the reception and asked if anyone was in charge, and they directed me to the Operations Manager, Ms. Doğa. The moment I explained my dissatisfaction to Ms. Doğa, the door to the room, which was already glass, opened, and the doctor tried to enter and started saying something to me. I said, "Why are you coming in? We're having a conversation. What are you doing here? You have no right to be here. Get out!" He continued talking, saying things like, "Don't get angry," etc. I said, "I got angry when you came in here, get out!" And he left. I asked Ms. Doğa why she didn't tell him to leave. Then we returned to the topic. He explained that "dental plaque varies, and some people's plaque can be removed very quickly." I said that I have my teeth cleaned every year, that I know my plaque condition and how the cleaning is done, that I feel rough, and that if necessary, I would see another dentist after leaving to check if the cleaning was done properly. Ms. Doğa said, "If I had time, I would ask another doctor, Ms. Büşra, to check on me. She even mentioned that her patient had just started and had begun tartar removal." I said that a doctor working at the same institution might protect her colleague. She replied, "They wouldn't do that; it wouldn't be ethical." The doctor's work took more than 20 minutes. I said, "Look, tartar removal takes this long," and they went to Dr. Büşra's room and explained my dissatisfaction. Dr. Büşra said that "the cleaning might be shorter for someone with less tartar." I said, "Let's look at it and talk without prejudice, if you want." After the check-up, Dr. Büşra said, "I can't say that tartar removal wasn't done, but there are some stains left; let's clean those if you like." Then she started the cleaning process. After a long cleaning session, she moved on to polishing/buffing. After about 10-12 minutes, I told her that I felt the roughness on my tongue had disappeared. I said, "If you think it's sufficient, you can finish." Checking in the mirror, I saw that the stains on my teeth had been removed. I thanked her as well. I explained that after having my teeth professionally cleaned, as I do every year, I felt a smoother texture and saw the cleanliness of the stains on my teeth, and that this wasn't psychological. I thanked her again and went to see Ms. Doğa. I thanked her for her support and also conveyed my thanks to Ms. Büşra. Ms. Doğa said, "Our biggest goal is for you to leave here satisfied." I thanked her and Ms. Büşra and left, mentioning that I would also write a complaint about the other doctor, Furkan Selvi.
