Privacy policy

The short version
ClinicsCheck has no accounts and no user database. Your saved clinics and enquiry history are stored in your own browser and are never sent to us. When you request a quote, your message goes to the clinic. We do not sell data to anyone.
What we store about you
- Saved clinics and enquiry history
- Held in your browser's local storage on your device. We cannot see it, and clearing your browser data deletes it. You can also clear it from the settings page in your account area.
- Quote requests
- The details you type go to the clinic you selected. Where a clinic has not yet claimed its listing, the request comes to us first and we forward it. We keep these only as long as needed to pass on and follow up.
- Analytics
- If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records which pages you visit, with your IP address anonymised. It runs in a consent-denied state until you agree, and rejecting it changes nothing about how the site works.
- Server logs
- Our host records standard request logs, including IP address, for security and diagnostics. These are short-lived.
Where clinic information comes from
Our clinic list reproduces the register of facilities authorised for international health tourism, published by the Turkish Ministry of Health (edition dated 20 Ağustos 2026, 4,810 facilities). Ratings, reviews, photos and websites come from Google and are shown with attribution. Prices come from clinics or from their public websites, and each is labelled with its source.
If you are a doctor named in a listing
Around half the register is individual practices registered under a practitioner’s own name, so those listings carry your name because the ministry publishes it that way. We rely on legitimate interest to republish public register data, but under KVKK and GDPR you may object.
Email corrections@clinicscheck.com or use the report link on your listing. We remove listings on request — you do not need to give a reason, and we aim to action it within seven days.
Your rights
Under GDPR and KVKK you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold, and may object to processing. Because we hold almost nothing — no accounts, no profiles — most requests concern clinic listings or a quote request you sent. Contact privacy@clinicscheck.com.
Cookies
We set no cookies until you accept analytics. Local storage is used for your shortlist, your theme preference and your cookie choice — these stay on your device and are not tracking cookies. You can change your choice any time by clearing site data in your browser.
