I came to Op. Esra as 2 very close women to me have had procedures done by her and their results were exactly what I was looking for. I didn't go through a medical tourism company and reached out to her team directly and I feel like that did alter my experience slightly (I'll go more into detail in a bit).
The procedures I had were a breast lift + reduction and chin liposuction. I'm about a month post op and I'm not exaggerating when I say this: Dr. Esra Bilgen has literally changed my life. To try to summarise, she is not only an absolutely brilliant surgeon but even more impressively, she's basically an artist in the OR. I had a severe case of sagging and my breasts were very 'tubular' in shape so to speak. My breasts were very big at around a 36GG bust and my nipples pointed straight down to the floor. I'm still not exactly sure what size I am as I haven't been cleared to wear a normal bra yet but I believe I'm around a 36DD, the shape is practically perfect, natural and the areola position and size is exactly where I asked them to be. No word of a lie when I say that she performed a miracle and my breasts are exactly the way I requested them to look albeit a tad on the smaller side than I asked for, the functionality and sensitivity has been unaltered. As I was changing the dressings on my left breast, I couldn't stop myself from tearing up as this has been a dream of mine for upwards of a decade.
With all that being said, I do have to mention that I have had a complication HOWEVER I do not blame Dr. Esra at all and she did explain the potential risks and was very upfront with me prior to the surgery and post op was honest when she spotted it. I had a bit of superficial skin necrosis on my right breast at the T junction (keep in mind this is very rare and I generally don't heal as well as the average person) which isn't great but the incisions on my left side have healed up so well it genuinely looks like I didn't have surgery (another amazing win).
A critic I will give is more towards the language barrier between her team and I, as I have had a complication I have to follow up with the aftercare nurses longer than the average patient and there have been periods where my questions were misinterpreted and a few periods where it took a few days to get answers to questions I thought were a bit concerning. As well as that, I know it will gradually heal but my chin liposuction has left me with more fibrosis than I thought I'd have at this stage. I was reassured that this is temporary and with consistent personal and professional massages they will mostly resolve but all in all not a massive issue as my main concern was my breast reduction.
To sum it all up, it was genuinely such an honour to have Op. Esra Bilgen perform these surgeries on me and all of my critics are overly analytical just to give a full picture of my journey. I could not recommend her enough!
Dr Bilgen performed an extended fdl tummy tuck, muscle repair, lipo and mons lift on me at the beginning of March 2026. Having lost a lot of weight following bariatric surgery, I was left with a significant overhanging belly/loose skin. I knew this would be a challenging surgery for Dr Bilgen and that it would be one of a number of surgeries I would need. I had an amazing experience, from start to finish, I felt completely respected in what can be a very vulnerable situation, her team were also highly compassionate. I felt well looked after, both in the hospital and by her team back at my hotel, they were always available and responsive. I had excellent aftercare, including detailed instructions and was given every thing I needed for back in the UK, and the communication continued once home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr Esra, I found her to be extremely professional, honest, articulate and a genuine down to earth person. I can't wait to see her again! 🫶

Dr. Esra is both a very warm and highly professional person. She was very honest and realistic with me about what would and would not suit my body, and what results I could realistically expect.
On the day of the surgery, I changed my mind regarding the implants, and she was more than happy to accommodate the change last minute.
It has now been 5 days since my surgery and so far I have had no complications. The results are already looking better and better every day.
Mehri, my personal assistant, was amazing throughout the entire process. She stayed in touch with me day and night, answered all of my questions, and were offering to arrange my transportation and hotel accommodation.
On the day of the surgery, both Mehri and Dr. Esra came with me to the hospital and stayed with me in my room before the operation. They provided emotional support and helped me feel calm and prepared. It meant to me a lot as I was on my own.
I stayed overnight at Memorial Şişli Hospital after the surgery, and honestly the hospital itself feels more like a five star hotel. I had a private room and bathroom to myself. The nurses and doctors checked on me constantly throughout the night, and whenever I needed painkillers or anything else, they were provided without any problem. I even asked specifically for biscuits for breakfast and they happily brought them to me!
Everyone at the hospital speaks English, and if someone didn’t, they were more than happy to communicate through Google Translate.
Three days after the surgery, I had my final check up with Dr. Esra. She gave me my implants certificates, meds,extra plasters, and my fit2fly certificate.
Overall, I felt extremely cared for throughout the whole journey and I would absolutely recommend Dr. Esra Bilgen and her team.

I returned yesterday from Istanbul after spending seven days in the city for two surgical procedures, and from the moment my flight landed, I received complete support from the team, which made me feel extremely safe and well cared for. Everything was thoughtfully planned and perfectly coordinated — from the team’s careful selection of a fully accessible hotel, which is essential after surgeries that limit mobility, to the transfer service with polite, professional, and highly competent drivers.
Dr. Esra Bilgen is truly wonderful — extremely caring, reassuring, and highly knowledgeable. She listened attentively to my concerns and took the time to thoroughly explain every step of the entire process. Her team is equally amazing, and I felt completely comfortable around every single one of them.
The hospital where the surgeries took place was exceptionally clean, modern, and well-equipped. I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Esra Bilgen’s practice, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone considering aesthetic surgery.
The procedures were carried out with absolute professionalism, and the postoperative care was outstanding. The entire team was consistently friendly, empathetic, and competent. I was especially impressed by how much time and attention were given to my questions and personal wishes, which made the entire experience even more reassuring.
I can fully and unreservedly recommend this clinic, the treatment, and the entire team — and I would choose them again without hesitation.
