Just had my hair transplant with Dr. Serkan and I’m genuinely impressed with the whole experience.
I had 3,800 grafts done, and everything from start to finish was handled professionally. The staff were amazing & super friendly, attentive, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. You can tell they really know what they’re doing and care about their patients.
One thing I really appreciated was how smooth everything was organized. They arranged pick-up and drop-off from the hotel, so I didn’t have to worry about anything. It made the whole experience stress-free.
Overall, really happy with the service and care I received.

I had my hair transplant at Dr Serkan Aygin Clinic on 7th January, and overall I’ve had a very positive experience.
I’d been losing my hair since my mid-20s (now 41), and after a lot of research where I saw this clinic kept coming up, plus seeing a mates results firsthand, I decided to go ahead.
From the start, communication was excellent. Everything is done via WhatsApp and responses were always quick and clear. They guide you through each step, including what to do before travelling, what to bring, and what to expect.
When I arrived in Istanbul, the airport pickup was smooth despite how big the airport is, and I was taken straight to the hotel. Once you land, you’re assigned a dedicated coordinator who looks after you throughout the process. They explain the schedule, confirm your consultation and surgery times, and are always available if you have any questions, which made the whole experience feel very organised and reassuring.
The hotel itself is fairly basic (similar to a Premier Inn/Travelodge), but perfectly fine for the purpose. The clinic is very close by, with plenty of places to eat nearby.
The clinic itself is modern, spacious, and feels high-end. It is busy, but that actually gave me confidence in their experience. During the consultation, the medical team carefully assessed my hair and walked me through the plan. I didn’t meet Dr Serkan Aygin personally, but I was seen by a lead consultant and experienced medical team who clearly do this day in, day out, and everything was explained thoroughly. The hairline design was discussed in detail, and I appreciated that they focus on creating a natural, age-appropriate look rather than a straight, artificial line. The procedure is carried out by experienced medical teams who clearly specialise in this day in, day out, and I felt in very safe hands.
My procedure took around 8 hours with just over 5,600 grafts. Overall it was surprisingly pain-free! The only discomfort was briefly during beard extraction, but they respond immediately if you mention any pain. The team checked in regularly throughout.
Post-op care was well organised. You’re given medication, clear instructions, and a follow-up wash the next day. The clinic also stays in touch after you return home, checking in regularly and asking for progress photos, which I found very reassuring.
At just under 3 months, I’m seeing early growth at the front, with the crown area slower as expected (they explain this clearly upfront). The hairline already looks natural, which was important to me.
Overall, the experience was very smooth, professional, and well managed from start to finish. It is a busy operation, but I felt well looked after throughout. I’d definitely recommend them and I’m looking forward to seeing the results develop further over the coming months.
I’ve shared before and after photos for context, bear in mind I'm at the 3 month stage so still early days but I'm still very happy. I've had a few haircuts in this time (just because the sides grow out way quicker than the top so looks funny).
Bottom line the clinic has been great, highly recommend them, if you're thinking about it just go for it :)

I couldn't be happier that I chose this particular clinic for my hair transplant. Their entire staff was so helpful and friendly right from the beginning. I'm from near Atlanta (US) and I was worried at first about traveling to Turkey for a procedure. They had staff that was able to answer all of my questions and concerns and walked me through exactly what would happen each step of the way.
Once I arrived in Istanbul, they had a driver pick me up from the airport and bring me directly to my hotel which was included in the package. Transportation and hotel accommodation was included each day I was there. The clinic itself is beautiful ! It's extremely modern and they have very up to date equipment. It literally looks like a super expensive private health clinic. You can go on YouTube to watch videos but I can say with 100% certainty that they don't come close to showing how beautiful the place really is.
The operation was extremely straightforward and turned out exactly how I was hoping. To those on the fence about getting a hair transplant in Turkey -- do not be afraid because this clinic will absolutely take care of you !

I traveled solo from Arizona to Istanbul for a 4,400 graft DHI procedure with Dr. Serkan Aygın Clinic in July 2026, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations.
I chose to arrive a couple days early to explore Istanbul and was not disappointed. A truly incredible city and I had a blast. If you make the trip, give yourself the extra time. It's worth it.
From the first consultation, everything was professional and transparent. No surprise costs, no pressure on upsells, and they were upfront about what was and wasn't necessary for my case. Dr. Aygın designed my hairline personally, and you can tell the difference experience makes. The design and density planning were meticulous.
The operation day was long (about 8 hours) but the team took care of me the whole way through. Communication was excellent despite the language difference, with translators at every step. One piece of advice for future patients: don't be a tough guy during the procedure. I was toughing it out for a while when I should have just been speaking up. The moment I told the team I could feel discomfort, they added more numbing shots right away and everything went much smoother from there. They want you comfortable, so tell them.
The day-after check, bandage removal, laser therapy session, and first wash at the clinic were all thorough and unhurried.
What impressed me most was the aftercare. Detailed written instructions, medication schedules, a care kit for the wash routine, and a dedicated post-op assistant who emails you a full recovery plan with long-term follow-ups at 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, and 12 months. They also handled all hotel and airport transfers, including a 4:45 AM pickup for my flight home. The drivers even took me by a pharmacy when I needed it.
If you're an American considering traveling to Turkey for a hair transplant, this clinic is the real deal. World-class medical care, honest pricing, and a system refined by thousands of international patients. Highly recommend!
