I had surgery with Dr. Selçuk İnanlı about ten years ago. I was young and very upset after a failed first rhinoplasty. In that first operation, I was only 19 and just wanted my hump removed, but the result was a crooked nose. When I found Dr. İnanlı, I believed he could fix it. Unfortunately, the outcome was far from what I hoped for. He reduced my tip too much - it used to be rounded, but now it’s smaller than my bridge. The grafts he placed are visible through my skin, and on one side, the skin is actually stuck to the graft, creating a dent. My columella is also crooked, which may indicate a deviated septum. The overall proportions look off, and these irregularities have bothered me for years. When I reached out to him about these issues, he kept saying he did a perfect job and dismissed everything I said. Later, when I asked if something could be done to improve the tip, he told me he could add ear grafts but that I would look bad, and I’d have to pay for a full surgery again. That made me lose trust completely - a confident, ethical doctor should be able to acknowledge when something didn’t turn out right. When I asked for a check-up a few years later, he said I’d have to pay a consultation fee. Other surgeons told me that’s not standard practice when you’ve already had surgery with the same doctor. When I spoke to a couple other patients to see if they have the same issues as me, he found out and told them I was mentally ill and not to listen to me. This whole experience was deeply painful and made me feel gaslit and disrespected for years. Now I have to pay 30k to correct his mistakes. I’m writing this so others can make a more informed choice. Choose a doctor who sees what didn't turn out good and offers to fix it with compassion.

I had a lot of fear before the surgery, it was close to impossible for me to have surgery, but when I went to the interview, dr selçuk inanlı explained every detail and I trusted a lot, all my fear was gone.
