Just seeing the doctor's face costs 18,000 TL. Let's say you need surgery; they quote prices in euros. It's unbelievable; they ask for around 40-50 thousand euros. Even worse, many things needed after the surgery aren't covered. Even post-operative X-rays aren't included in the package. If you need a corset or other medical support, you have to pay for it out of your own pocket.

Is it acceptable to charge 18,000 TL for a doctor's examination, especially for a 5-10 minute check-up without any insurance coverage? That's outrageous.

The doctor didn't even touch the patient; he just gave information about the initial imaging costing 17,000 TL. Forget SSK (Turkish social security system), even private health insurance is invalid. For example, you're waiting at the door, you have an appointment, the doctor leaves, you wait and wait, no one calls, you ask where the doctor is, and they say, "Ah, the doctor left!" Is this a joke? I traveled for hours just to see if the doctor was good...

The nurses and doctors are very good; the nurses are very sweet and kind.
