Hello everyone, I never imagined that one day I would be a patient of Professor Alper, whom I have known as a family friend for many years and whose humane qualities I know very well. That was until my illness, where various clinical symptoms became confusing. For the past 3 years, we had been attributing my intermittent headaches to high blood pressure. The cough that developed after Covid complicated things. It turned out that a 4 cm mass in an area very close to the respiratory center was the cause of these symptoms. After the CT scan, when I was taken to the MRI machine, I suspected that there was something wrong with my brain. My first thought was to pray that if there was something wrong with my brain, Professor Alper could fix it, and that there wouldn't be anything wrong with other parts of my body. The hardest part was telling my children. Even they, the first person who came to their minds and reassured them was Uncle Alper. When it was a brain issue, everyone outside our family started frantically suggesting different doctors' names. My wife, who is also a doctor, knows Professor Alper's journey in medicine very well, having been his assistant, so I entrusted myself to him without hesitation. When I went to see him as a patient, he very reassuringly explained what to expect during the post-operative period and assured me that I could always reach him. It was this reassurance that allowed me to have the surgery quickly. The pathology report is good, thank God I'm doing well. I know this is a bit long, but I wanted to write about the process. During illness, there can be a rush, a frantic search for the best doctor. You can entrust yourself to Prof. Dr. Alper Kaya without hesitation or searching elsewhere. I can confidently say that he is excellent in his field. Hopefully, you'll never need him. But as they say, "problems are an invitation to healing." The important thing is to realize this. My acquaintance with dear Prof. Dr. Alper Kaya began during my father's spinal surgery. Almost 10 years have passed, yet his warmth and thoughtfulness towards us have never changed. The surgery was quite difficult, and since my father also had a heart condition, he was at great risk. Besides the success of the surgery, he became like a member of our family, answering and informing us 24/7 without hesitation. During that time, we underwent many operations at the hospital where he worked for many years, and no matter what, even outside his specialty, he always helped us and inquired about our well-being. For me, besides being a very successful physician, his interest and concern for us, the fact that we could find answers and reach him when needed, was very important.
