When I went to the doctor complaining of inability to urinate, I was told I might have bladder cancer, but it turned out I actually had urethral stricture. Before meeting Dr. Saadettin, I underwent four surgeries in one year to open the stricture with a cold scalpel. During this process, I faced multiple incorrect diagnoses and treatments. I can say that meeting Dr. Saadettin was one of the most critical turning points in my life. I'm so glad it happened, because he made the correct diagnosis and I started my new treatment process. Beyond his medical expertise, he and his team were always there for me, sometimes like an older brother, sometimes a psychologist, and sometimes a life coach. I'm so glad they were. With love and respect…

Professor Saadettin is not only an undeniably knowledgeable and experienced surgeon in his field, but also a wonderful person. His attitude and approach towards his patients and their families are unparalleled and straightforward in every matter. He and his entire team have been and continue to be by our side throughout the entire surgical process and follow-up. We extend our deepest gratitude for restoring my wife's health.
Professor Dr. Saadettin performed Tur-MT surgeries on my mother on different dates. Each operation was successful, and she recovered quickly. He instills a sense of trust in the patient, which is the biggest factor in my mother undergoing surgeries without fear and with peace of mind. He is an extremely caring, communicative, well-equipped, perfectionist, and professional doctor. He even maintains contact during the post-operative period. Professor Saadettin has made a significant contribution to my mother's healthy life. I express my gratitude and thanks to him and his team, and wish them continued success in their work.
"I sought help from many doctors due to some bladder problems I was experiencing, but I found Dr. Saadettin by chance and I was truly very pleased. He is not only a good doctor, but also a very kind person. He is a disciplined and clear doctor who understands what the patient is saying very well, knows how to psychologically reassure them, and aims to keep the process completely under control. This is exactly what I had been looking for for a long time. Regarding my bladder problem, which I had been struggling with for a long time, an effective process management was implemented in a short time, and the results were quite fruitful. Also, the book written by Dr. Saadettin was very helpful during this process. His general perspective is that people should reach out to their doctors before they get sick, and I have adopted this philosophy. Now, even when I don't have any illnesses, I go to my doctor for regular check-ups, and together we manage a process of staying healthy. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Saadettin to everyone. “ONUR ALKOÇ”
In the third week of January 2021, I arrived in Izmir for a routine check-up for Stage 1 Lung Cancer. At the request of the professor who performed our surgery, following the CT scan, a PET-CT scan revealed: A 65 mm tumor in the right adrenal gland and metastases in the right leg, hip, and thigh bones. I began searching for a doctor specializing in chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and robotic surgery for the right adrenal gland tumor. I started hip bone radiotherapy treatment at Izmir Onkomer. During treatment: I contacted urologist/robotic surgeon professors with successful track records, scheduling appointments. Regarding the adrenal tumor: - Could the 65 mm tumor be reduced in size with chemotherapy, and then the 10 mm tumor in the lung be removed simultaneously using robotic surgery? - There is metastasis in the bone tissue as well. You should receive systemic treatment. Removing the 65 mm tumor or the entire kidney will not change the outcome. - This tumor may spread if touched. - Oncologist Prof.: This tumor can be eliminated with RT. Let's have the genetic tests done in the USA. - Although open surgery increases the risk of the mass rupturing and spreading throughout the body because it is touched and pulled, "open surgery was offered." RT sessions were completed in mid-February. I waited another week in the hotel because the genetic test results from the USA had not yet arrived. - The Oncologist Prof. told me to go home and that they would start treatment once the results arrived. In early March, I was treated at a fully equipped oncology-focused hospital by an Oncologist Prof. They offered to remove my adrenal gland tumor (70 mm) at double the cost (by a robotic surgeon experienced in breast cancer). I've been carrying this tumor inside me for 3 months, and I've searched extensively online and read patient reviews to get rid of it as soon as possible. God did not leave our efforts unrewarded, and I came across patient reviews and success stories of Uro-Oncology Professor Dr. Saadettin Eskiçorapçı. For months, I've struggled to get rid of this affliction. I've consulted countless professors in the Aegean region who have success stories. I sent all the information I had to his clinic to share with him. He called back and said: - "Don't cause yourself any trouble, come and let's clean this up immediately." I went to his clinic without wasting any time. Despite the tumor growing to 80 mm, the doctor stated that it wouldn't be a problem. Although there were low risks involved in the surgery (aorta, spleen, liver, etc.), they said that the university hospital's expert vascular surgery and similar teams would intervene immediately. As a precaution, they stated that one unit of blood matched to my blood type would be prepared. Acibadem Atakent Fully Equipped Hospital has all the necessary equipment and tests. The surgery date was set. Preparations for robotic surgery began. The doctor, his assistants, and at least a dozen healthcare personnel performed a very difficult surgery lasting two hours. The tumor mass originating from the right adrenal gland was 95 mm and 115 grams. The tumor, located 1 mm from the liver and 2 mm from the main vein, was in a very dangerous and isolated location. The tumor mass, located above the kidney, was removed according to oncological guidelines, packaged and removed before it spread. - Thank God! Following a successful operation, I was their guest for 3 days. I would like to thank the cleaning staff, the cafeteria staff, the patient caregivers, the nurses, and all the healthcare workers. I was discharged and drove from Istanbul to Balıkesir without any discomfort and arrived home safely. My doctor consulted with a Radiation Oncologist, and as a result, I received 10 sessions of precautionary RT treatment. My doctor monitors my condition at every stage after the operation and discusses and evaluates the MRI and RT results with his colleagues. I was experiencing frequent urination and sweating, especially while sleeping, but these are decreasing day by day. God willing, I will recover. God willing, we have follow-up appointments with my doctor after the holiday. God willing, our results will be good. It was very meaningful that he took the time to look for holiday gifts even while healing so many of his patients. May God bless the elders of your family who raised you. May God give you strength and power so that you may be a source of hope and help to many more lives.
