It's been a little over a year since my septoplasty/rhinoplasty and I am very pleased with my results. My only regret is that I did not have this surgery sooner. I have by now gotten used to being able to breathe, but initially I could not believe how much it improved the quality of my life. I traveled from abroad and found the entire process smooth and reassuring. I felt heard by Dr. Dal at every step, especially regarding my annoyingly-specific concerns around the rhinoplasty. I have since referred family members and friends to him who have had great results. Some reviewers have commented on his directness - remember that you need a competent and knowledgeable surgeon, not a friend. That is not to say he is not polite and courteous, of course.

I’m writing this review to share my outstanding experience with Prof. Dr. Dal, following my rhinoplasty/septoplasty surgery performed by him 9 months ago. In my opinion, writing a review or posting photos just a few days after such a procedure is meaningless—true results take time to fully emerge. To give some context: I’m a 42-year-old male, and I had a failed septoplasty 23 years ago in Bulgaria. The recovery back then was extremely painful and traumatic, which left me unwilling to go through the procedure again. Over the years, my left nostril remained almost completely blocked, my septum was perforated, and besides the thick nasal skin, I had also a nasal hump, and a drooping tip—especially noticeable when smiling. As someone who’s very active in sports, the blocked nostril was a constant source of discomfort. I also suffered from severe spring allergies, which I believe were worsened by the poor ventilation in my left sinus—the inhaled pollen had no way to clear out. A close friend from Turkey recommended Prof. Dr. Dal, and I was immediately impressed by his calm and professional demeanor during our first consultation. A few weeks later, I had the surgery at the American Hospital. In the weeks leading up to it, I sent numerous questions, and Prof. Dal personally responded within just a few hours every time—something that truly stood out. The entire hospital experience was outstanding. The staff made me feel completely safe, was very polite to my wife and me and the pre-surgery evaluations were thorough and reassuring. My recovery was surprisingly smooth, and most importantly—literally from the moment I woke up—I could breathe perfectly through my left nostril for the first time in decades. Over the next six months, I had several follow-up visits with Prof. Dal, and he was always there to answer my questions. During that time, a few of my friends had similar surgeries done by well-known "Instagram-famous" surgeons. Unlike my experience, they mostly communicated with assistants and barely saw the surgeon before and after the operation. Six months post-op, the swelling had completely resolved. No one would ever guess that I’ve had rhinoplasty unless I told them. I can breathe effortlessly now, and even more remarkably—my spring allergies, which used to make that season a nightmare, have completely disappeared. I’m deeply grateful to Prof. Dr. Dal and can confidently give him a 5-star review. One small suggestion: your website is among the most informative I’ve seen in the field, but please consider producing more videos in English—so more international patients can access your expertise.
