Returning home from Turkey today after undergoing a revision breast augmentation and upper blepharoplasty with Dr. Erman Ak, I wanted to share my experience for anyone else considering this path. A special mention must go to Abdullah, who managed my care from the very first enquiry through to my return home. He handled all the logistics, including airport and hospital transfers, and remained a constant, reassuring presence who was always available to answer my questions. Nurse Elif was equally wonderful—her warmth and kindness made a significant difference during the post-operative period. My Experience - Dr. Ak and EFC Clinic - I had a very positive experience at EFC Clinic and am extremely happy with my decision to have my surgery with Dr Ak. From my initial video consultation, Dr Ak was professional, attentive and very clear about the procedure, what I could realistically expect and the results that could be achieved. Exactly 1 month post-op. This was genuinely the easiest surgery I have ever had and I have undergone three previous procedures before this one. The professionalism of the entire team was outstanding. Rabia was exceptional throughout. She was extremely organised efficient and an excellent communicator. Even though I can’t possibly know, I feel I had the best surgeon, Dr Ak performing a facial surgery on me. The results are better than I expected. The incisions have healed virtually with no marks. Nurse Elif and the coordinator Rabia were available virtually 24/7 and ensured my recovery was smooth. I went to Istambul by myself but I never felt alone. The only thing that could’ve possibly enhanced the experience was the availability of some written instructions for self-care after the surgery, but Elif and Rabia was always just a message away anyway. Overall a very positive experience. I highly recommend dr Ak and his team.
