Dr Fi was recommended to me by a friend who had had a face lift with him. He had been very impressed with both the result and the experience so it gave me confidence to go ahead and book.I had a video consultation with Dr Fi and he agreed I was a good candidate for a neck lift and lower face lift (deep plane), together with upper eyelid surgery and fat injections. I’m 45 and had mild sagging/ laxity around the neck and jaw. I wanted to get more of a snatched look and maximise my appearance before I head into my 50s. I travelled from Spain to Istanbul alone and the clinic had arranged a luxury transfer from the airport to my hotel. The hotel was located just a minute’s walk from the clinic. Because I had agreed to have the surgery under local anaesthetic with sedation, I was able to be treated in the clinic and not at the hospital. I flew in on a Monday and had the surgery Tuesday night. I was able to do some sightseeing during the day on Tuesday and really loved the city. I met Dr Fi and his team at the clinic and they spoke English to a high standard so I felt fully informed of what was going to happen. I was conscious during the surgery, which took around four hours, and was able to communicate. But I was sedated so I was relaxed and for the most part only experienced a bit of discomfort. I have had surgery previously so the arrangement was ok for me, but might not be suitable for someone anxious about the procedure. When the surgery was finished, I was able to get straight up and return to my hotel - one of the kind nurses accompanied me. The first night was quite uncomfortable. Because I wasn’t in the hospital I couldn’t have the IV pain killer overnight, however when I got my medication in the morning things eased up. And despite being swollen and bruised, by Day 2 I was able to do a bit of work on my laptop and do some gentle walking around the neighbourhood (wearing my headscarf and dark glasses). I had decided to do the trip by myself, which meant I didn’t have anyone to send out for food or to the pharmacy, but I managed ok. I had my check up on the Thursday night and Dr Fi said everything was looking good. I got my fit to fly letter and I flew home the next day. So in total, I was away for just four nights. I think they would have preferred for me to stay a little longer but, for me, it was better to be back in my own bed. I was able to take the tape off my face and remove the stitches from my eyes today (Sunday) and am healing well. I have cream to apply to my scars which are hidden in my hairline around the back of my neck and ears. My energy is still a bit lower than normal but generally I’m able to go about normal activities. Overall, everything has gone well and my experience of Turkey and Dr Fi and his team has been great. I’m excited to see the final result!

Although we live in Dubai, our family always prefers Istanbul when it comes to healthcare. Finding the right doctor is the most important thing for us, and that’s why we chose Dr. Fi. My mother had a facelift with him and was extremely happy with the results. Patient Experience – Op. Dr. Ferhat İlen I had been researching rhinoplasty for nearly a year, meeting with several hospitals and specialist surgeons during that period. Appointments, simulations, evaluations—everything took a great deal of time and energy since the beginning of 2025. At some point, even my Instagram Explore page was filled entirely with rhinoplasty posts. :) One day, I came across a post by Op. Dr. Ferhat İlen, and when I visited his page, I was immediately impressed—not only by his surgical expertise but also by his strong aesthetic perspective and extensive experience in various procedures. That’s when I decided to request a consultation. When I went to the appointment, I didn’t bring an example photo, nor did I ask for a simulation. My only intention was to rely on his expertise and aesthetic judgment. My biggest concern was the possibility of having an overly upturned nose. During our 10–15 minute examination, Dr. Ferhat İlen explained in detail what he planned to do and how the final result would look. At that moment, all my doubts disappeared, and I decided to proceed with the surgery without hesitation. He had clearly understood my concerns, and I felt completely confident in him. My operation took place early in the morning on October 31, 2025. I experienced no pain or discomfort at all. I was eagerly and excitedly waiting for November 5, 2025, the day my silicone splints would be removed. The five-day process was incredibly smooth and painless. The only minor inconvenience was a bit of blood accumulation inside the splints and slight blockage at the tip of the nose—which, of course, is completely normal. During this period, I would like to extend my gratitude to Ms. Duygu and Ms. Hande, who were constantly in contact with me and closely monitoring my condition. We continued to stay in touch for a month after the removal as well, and I am truly grateful for their support. On November 5, when the silicone splints were removed, I realized I had never breathed this comfortably in my entire life. As for the appearance… I couldn’t believe how much a nose could change a person’s overall look. I found myself staring in the mirror for minutes, thinking, “Can a transformation really be this beautiful?” Today, I can confidently say that one of the best decisions I have ever made was having my rhinoplasty performed by Op. Dr. Ferhat İlen. I achieved the nose I dreamed of, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone wishing to achieve theirs—without a single moment of hesitation. My deepest gratitude goes to Op.
